Merry Christmas Everyone!!!! All is well here in Edmonton, Man oh man does time every fly. My time here has gone by so fast it's amazing to think that in the time that I've been here a whole term at school has come and gone. Speaking of which, after a short trip down south it's time to get back to the books and finally finish my school. Yes, I am almost done. Back to Vancouver, I was lucky enough to find a place downtown and for a reasonable price non the less. Here are some of the pictures that I took on our trip to Spirit River. Well I have to run cause I haven't packed yet for the trip to Florida and the flight leaves in a couple of hours.

Back again, Been a couple of months since the last post.. I'm here in Edmonton for the next month and then taking off for a little vacation. Back to school in January to finally finish my schooling at BCIT. Let me tell you I do beleive I have mixed feelings about that. Very excited to be done but so sick and tired of moving around. I do beleive that Alberta has alot to offer, so the pull to reside here is pretty strong.

Currently working for Ensing Drilling, and yes the work is not easy, but it is every bit worth it, not only for the money but also the experience.

I have met lots of new friends and have been having a good time, eventhough the temperature has averaged -20 for the last two weeks. I hope all is well with everyone, I do though have to mention a special welcome to all of new inductee's to the McLeod family. Keep posting pictures on the McLeod Family blog. I hope to see you all this summer, when I can finally make it back to Ontario, I have a feeling that the Games are going to be a good time this year. ;)

Hello all. Work here in Edmonton is going well, I've been told that I'm not allowed to take another job come next spring as I have one with Gourley Equipment Rentals. Nice feeling, to know that there is a job waiting.

Alberta is a great place to be right now, not only are the financial opportunities bountiful, but I have met many great people.

Yesterday Nick, Michelle, Kelly and I attended the Women's rugby world cup final. Wow, 25$ and we watched 3 games. Scotland was defeated by the US. Canada lost to France in the Bronze medal game. England lost to New Zealand for the Gold. The games got progressively better as the day wore on. It was a balmy 3 degree's in the stadium, but a warm jacket and toque kept me warm.

Sorry I forgot the camera yesterday so there are no pictures. But I will post the pictures that I had promised earlier in the summer.

Last couple of weeks

Well were now into the middle of August. yeah... umm wow finding it had to think of things to talk about.

Haven't been feeling the greatest lately. The proverbial wind has left my sails.
I find myself, for the first time in a long time looking to the horizon in a blind gaze. I see the tasks ahead.. i know how to acomplish them.. just finding the get up and go to get'er done.

Jeff and I took a trip to Golden B.C on the long August weekend. Went for a hike to the top of Terminator Ridge. I have looked it up and it turns out that the photo's were taken at 8500 feet of Elevation.

Jeff and I at the peak... had to be mindfull not only of the possible landslide possibilities(the peak was all lose shale, and the fact that the area was closed due to landslides)

The restaurant that we ate at for lunch resides at around 7300 feet.

More Pictures will arrive soon. There are many more. On the way back to Edmonton we took the Glacial parkway, had to pay 17.50$ for a day pass, guess that's how they grab more money to maintain the park. I have to say that it was one of the nicest strip of road that I have ever driven along, rivaled only by the drive across Vancouver Island to Toffino. I hope everyone is doing well. Well, I'm now here in Edmonton, working away. trying to make enough money to go back to school and finish the diploma I started oh so vey long ago. The money is nice, working lots of hours, but can't see to shake this loneliness that I have felt for the last couple of weeks. I blame myself for this, it was my decision to come here.

I will be here in Edmonton for the next couple of months, unless I find myself unemployed. But the way that Alberta's economy is going, I would probably have another job the next day.

Well the Summer work season is now in full swing(for me).... There has only been one job offer so far, which is not as good as I had expected. But what do you get for only sending out a couple of resumes so far.

The only shortcoming of this position is that it's in Edmonton. Not that the city is bad, or the fact that I would be close enough to keep an eye on Jeff, but the fact that Evelyn and I would be moving there and closing our apt. here in Burnaby.
I know that to many of you this wouldn't be such a big deal, but the job begins the day after tomorrow.... and I was told the details today.AHHHH what to do.

Stay here and look for a job, or go there and work a job. The hitch is that I have courses to complete starting this January. So I would only be there for 7 months.

What to do, what to do.

Any ideas in the next couple of hours post'em... have to buy my plane ticket today if I'm going.
